Systemic: Action aimed at redesigning the very systems of our society (including economic, technological, political, educational) to tackle the root causes of climate change.
New thinking: Challenging entrenched mechanistic societal beliefs and moving beyond conservation-based environmental approaches (which only work to minimize the effects of the old system), to inspire a new cultural philosophy (based on holistic, eco-centric thinking) that will give birth to designing a new way forward.
Intergenerational: Working to partner youth passion and new ideas with the wisdom and experience of already established leaders, taking the best of current innovative change and furthering it through youth optimism and initiative.
Collaborative: Building bridges across sectors of society so that climate change is pursued as an economic, technological, political, business, and educational challenge, where the environment is integrated into every system of society as the fundamental foundation. Actions break climate change out of its perceived environmental box, separated from the other systems of society.
Positive Inspiration: Approaching the challenge of climate change as an exciting positive opportunity to redesign society, inspiring hope and systemic change.
Visionary: Actively defining a vision of what we want the future to look like to guide our actions now. Actions are founded on a vision of the future we are working for, instead of protesting what we are against.
